The Plaza gala for Gilda's Club, named for late comic Gilda Radner, honored Jonathan Tisch, Lee Grant, and Ernestine Bradley. Guests included Bill Bradley, Denise Rich, and lots of Tisches—Bob and Joan, Steve and Jamie, and Laurie Tisch Sussman. I asked guest Cheri Oteri of Saturday Night Live how she keeps up her wacky persona on the show. "Dysfunction," she quipped. The Today Show's Al Roker hosted the event, which benefits the cancer-multiservice charity.
