Goldie
Hawn took a back seat to actress daughter Kate Hudson, star
of Cameron Crowe's huge hit Almost Famous. It was
Kate's absolutely famous night, with no mother/daughter rivalry
from what I could see. But Goldie did light up when she told
me how proud she is of her overnight-sensational daughter.
Kate, with rocker boyfriend Chris Robbins in tow, proved a
seasoned pro when it came to handling the media. "Making the
movie was a blast!" she exclaimed about her big screen debut.
At the after-party at Max's Kansas City: Ethan Hawke and wife
Uma Thurman, and Harvey Weinstein.
