At the United Nations Ambassadors dinner at the Sheraton, Michael Douglas, who stumps for the UN in public forums, paraded recent bride Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Ted Turner showed off new gal pal Frederique d'Arragon. Turner just pledged a measly $1 billion (eat your hearts out, A-listers!) to assist the UN's varied humanitarian efforts. The evening honored World Bank head Jim Wolfensohn and Michael Bloomberg. Barbara Walters emceed a room packed with business, social, and political heavies, to say the least.
