Alec Baldwin and Nicole Seidel

A dinner, a dance, and a fantasy auction at Sag Harbor’s Long Wharf benefited the Bay Street Theatre and the many theatre arts and educational programs it sponsors.

Mario Cantone and Alec Baldwin surprised guests with an improvised David Gest and Liza Minnelli vignette. To play David, Alec put on dark sunglasses and pursed his lips. Bending his legs, he said, “I l-o-v-e you honey. We’re gonna be together for-e-v-e-r!” Mario’s Liza, in an uncanny voice that sounded just like Liza’s, exclaimed, “I love you, I love you, I love you!” to hoots of laughter and cheering.

Alec, however, was obviously bonding with his new squeeze, Asian beauty Nicole Seidel. He appeared to be quite cozy with her as they eyed the silent auction baubles. After a painful breakup with Kim Basinger, we wish Alec much happiness and better luck with his future relationships.

Among the notables enjoying these impromptu shenanigans, were Kim Cattrall, Roy Scheider, artist Paul Davis, John DeLuca, Rob Marshall, Jonathan Freeman (of 42nd Street), Annie Golden, hotel magnate Gordon Campbell Gray, Barbara Hearst, Terrence McNally, Mercedes Ruehl, playwright Lanford Wilson, and B. Smith—who surprised everyone when she modeled the Harry Winston $25K earrings during the auction and wouldn’t take them off! “My husband bought them, and now they’re mine!” she proclaimed, running to her table to smother hubbie Dan Gasby with smooches. Indeed, he did place the winning bid at $15K!

Some deal!
