The Orchid Ball, which benefited The Child Development Center of the Hamptons (CDCH), began at sunset at the exquisite Villa Maria in Water Mill. Melissa Cohn, CEO of Manhattan Mortgage, was honored for her support and dedication in promoting the Center’s vision and goals. Thanks to her generosity and that of other corporate sponsors, the CDCH Foundation is preparing to break ground on their new school.

Robin Neimark Seegal, CDCH Foundation President, chaired the event; and Jane McEvoy Petrycki, Jennifer D’Auria, and Lisa Kerkorian served as event co-chairs.

Guests at the evening gala inluded Dan Wassong (CEO of Del Labs), Bobby Campbell, Jeff Furman with Carol Press, State Senator Kenneth LaValle, Jerry Cooney, Dave and Marina Okorn, and prominent Wall Streeters John and Laura Barker. All enjoyed cocktails, dinner, dancing to the sounds of Total Soul Party, and a live auction conducted by Sotheby’s Benjamin Doller.
