Miss Universe 2002 Justine Pasek, Miss USA Susie Castillo
The honorees at the “28th Annual Beauty Ball,” which was this year’s cosmetic industry’s gala gift to the March of Dimes at the Waldorf, were Donald Loftus, president and CEO of Cosmopolitan-Cosmetics; and Gail Gordon, vice president for cosmetics for Macy’s. Now, what would the Beauty Ball be without the Beautiful People? This year’s guests included Naomi Campbell, Miss USA (Susie Castillo), Miss Universe 2002 (Justine Pasek), William Lauder, “Tony and Tina Cosmetics” founders Cristina Bornstein and Anthony Gill, Dan Brestle, Philip Shearer, Arlene Dahl and Marc Rosen, Primedia’s Alan Katz, and Givenchy’s Camille McDonald. Speaking of the sparklingest of Glam, the goodie-goodie-bags practically had to be hauled out, since they were so filled to the brim with the best of the Biz.
