Michael Crawford

A-listers danced up a storm at the after-party for Dance of the Vampires held in the legendary Copacabana. The revelers partied until the wee hours of the morning—way past any good vampire’s bedtime. The Broadway musical starred former “Phantom” Michael Crawford in this rocking opera penned by rock-pop composer Jim Steinman, whose hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” showed up not once, but twice in the show!

Al Gore (sans beard) turned out for the evening’s spectacle. His thoughts on the Middle East crisis: “As far as I’m concerned, the war against Iraq distracts from the war against terrorism.” We wondered how our buff former VP stayed in shape these days. He shot back with a smirk, “Low expectations.”
