Stars flocked to the ultra-chic Hudson Hotel for the after-party for La Boheme’s Opening Night. Moulin Rouge creator Baz Luhrman gave Puccini’s opera a Broadway makeover, while the Hudson got a Hollywood makeover as the entire hotel was transformed for the event. It was a splashy, glamorous backdrop for stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Grant, Cameron Diaz, and Marcia Gay Harden. Leo “No talk! No pics!” DiCaprio was evasive as ever, but Hugh Grant was a true gentleman. When asked if he ever makes it to the Hamptons, he quipped: “I visit the Hamptons occasionally because my brother has a house there. But I find American WASPiness more terrifying than British snobbery.” No worries, we’ll make you feel right at home, Hugh!
