"New Yorkers for Children” held its exceptionally glamorous Fall Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street, replete with a mix of politicos, fashionistas, and the glam set. Commissioners William Bell and Nicholas Scoppetta, Hugh “The Boy From Oz” Jackman, Amy Astley, and Oscar de la Renta hosted the evening.

Senator Hillary Clinton, this year’s honoree for service to New York’s children, accepted the “Nicholas Scoppetta Award” from Mayor Bloomberg via live satellite from D.C.

Gala vice-chairs Mona Ackerman, Susan Burden, Debbie Bancroft, Beth Rudin DeWoody, Susan Fales-Hill, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Peggy Penn, Renee Rockefeller, Tim Schifter, Kelly Behun Sugarman, Oma Shulman, and Anna Wintour showed how to really get out there and bring in the cash at this fundraiser.
