At The Museum of Television and Radio’s annual gala at the Waldorf, big-name presenters Mary Tyler Moore, Jeremy Irons, Beverly Sills, and Barbara Walters paid homage to Julie Andrews and Carol Burnett.
A nonprofit organization that collects and preserves television and radio programs and advertisements, the Museum hosted this star-studded event to honor the elegant Andrews and supremely comedic Burnett for their brilliant, award-winning TV careers.
Among the guests: crooner Tony Bennett; media celebs Deborah Norville, Charles Grodin, Walter Cronkite, Ashleigh Banfield, and Paula Zahn; Broadway legends Stephen Sondheim, Hal Prince, and Chita Rivera; funnyman Mo Rocca; movie critic Joel Siegel; opera diva Beverly Sills and many other awe-inspiring attendees. Congrats to the incomparable Ms. Andrews and Ms. Burnett. Don’t they make climbing every mountain look easy?
