Stewart Rahr, Kinray Pharmaceutical tycoon whose sales are now approaching $3 bil, held a blowout b-day bash—taking over Mr. Chow’s with a hundred of his closest and dearest pals while sounds were spun by Tom Finn, one of the original DJs from Studio 54! In the mix: Andrea and John Stark, Benny and Lori Shabtai, Jerry Wolkoff, Mitch Modell, Dennis Basso, Susanne and Hormoz Sabet, Dr. Jerry Lubliner, Glenn Nussdorf, Larry and Denise Wohl, Steven Rosen, Gale and Ken Sitomer, and Ana and Graziano Giglio. Golfing buddy Donald Trump was in the mix and (surprise, surprise) The Sheet discovered that The Donald can dish it out but can hardly take it. This publisher/ photog sauntered on over to give him a taste of his own medicine—neck pecks that is! I snuck up behind him (a BIG no-no!) and planted strategically placed smooches on the real estate giant’s neck—exactly what he had done when welcoming moi to the 18 lush links at his new Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach. The pecks bewildered Trump, until he recognized who it was. Luckily, he didn’t throw a quick left before checking me out! He smiled and graciously accepted my greeting … after all, I am germ-free, of course. At one point while Rahr was making his most humble (yeah, right) speech, Trump yelled out sarcastically, “louder, Stewart!” As The Stewart proceeded to introduce the next speaker, whom he welcomed to the podium with, “I now present Rabbi Gelman, who ordered the pork tonight.” The Rabbi had everyone in stitches with his spoof on Rahr: “‘Hi, I’m Stewart Rahr from Kinray and I want to pledge $100,000 … anonymously.’” This high-wattage crowd danced and feasted to their hearts content … only the best, only the best—we wouldn’t expect less from Rahr, Rahr, Rahr.
