Mayor Bloomberg found time from his busy schedule to kick back and poke fun at himself at the annual Inner Circle black-tie dinner held at the Hilton Hotel. Every year the NYC press corps spoofs the Mayor along with other politicos including Sarah Palin, Christine Quinn, Charles Rangel, and Gov. David Paterson, who was a no-show, portrayed as the captain of the Titanic heading directly into an iceberg. The Gov. was then encircled by sharks, including Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, his political rival.
This year the Mayor, looking like a love child with hair extensions, tinted shades, a flower-power shirt, and headband for his ‘60s flashback look, performed with the cast of Hair. During his skit he got a surprise visit from Jersey Shore reality show, so called “star” Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi.
In past charity fund-raiser shows, the Mayor performed with the casts of Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, and Spamalot.
