Female leaders of industry, media, government, and the arts gathered at The Pierre for the much anticipated Citymeals-on-Wheels' Power Lunch for Women, honoring founding director Marcia Stein, who stepped down last September but remains active in the organization

The lunching ladies included co-founder Gael Greene, Pamela Baxter, Kelly Bensimon, Barbara Taylor Bradford, Bobbi Brown, Patricia Duff, Dasha Epstein, Linda Fairstein, Jamee Gregory, Caroline Hirsch, Gayle King, Rikki Klieman, Donna Hanover, Sandra Lee, Margo MacNabb Nederlander, Ruth Reichl, Shari Scharfer-Rollins, Gloria Steinem, Diana Taylor, Lizzie Tisch, Barbara Tober, Susan Ungaro, Lillian Vernon, and Patricia Wexler.

A few adventurous men bought the privilege of lunching with these powerful women for an admission price of a mere $10k. This year's most generous men included Jeffrey Chodorow, Dennis Riese, John Orrico, Michael Lynne, David Rockwell, John Shapiro, Myron Stein, John Pomerantz, Donald Tober, Steven B. Zavagli, and Jonathan Tisch

The benefit raised $1.17 mil, enough bucks to provide 190,000 meals for homebound elderly New Yorkers.
