George Stephanopoulos and Ali Wentworth, Mariska Hargitay

The 16th annual Retreat’s Artists Against Abuse Gala, a Hamptons summer tradition, took place at the Ross School in East Hampton to honor actress Mariska Hargitay, founder of the Joyful Heart Foundation, with the Hope Award. Alexandra Wentworth and George Stephanopoulos hosted the magical evening to show their support for the women and children experiencing the nightmare of domestic violence, and help them find their way to a life free of cruelty. Maria McBride and Russell Kolody of Maria McBride Productions transformed the school’s Great Hall into their very own luxury liner-taking guests on a fun-filled, nautical journey! Guests arrived for a quick passport check-in, and once on board, sipped their favorite cocktails and perused the generous selection of silent auction items, which included original works by local artists. News 12’s Gina Glickman presented a live auction during the Captain’s Dinner, where local chef Peter Ambrose of Food for Forks prepared a sumptuous feast. What a re-treat!
