Guild Hall’s Summer Gala, emceed by Alec Baldwin, celebrated artist Richard Prince and honored Martha Stewart. The evening began with cocktails at Guild Hall with a preview of the exhibition, followed by dinner and dancing under a tent at the historic Gardiner Estate.
We noticed how great Baldwin looked, and asked him how he lost so much weight and dropped around a decade from his face. “I gave up sugar ... no ice cream anymore, that I love... not a drop of sugar!” He was also very excited about working on the next Woody Allen movie, but-as per the Woodman’s instructions-would not reveal the plot.
Guests included Dina Merrill and Ted Hartley, sculptor Gloria Kisch, Pam and Edward Pantzer, Matthew and Stacey Bronfman, Randy Slifka, Ron Delsner, Robert Stern, Robert and Caryn Nederlander, and Larry Gagosian.
