Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick

The hit HBO series Sex and the City premiered the first two episodes of its final season at New York’s American Museum of Natural History, where the Belles of the Ball Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, and showstopper Kim Cattrall were all high-spiritedly out and about. The event attracted a glamorous list of stars among the likes of Candace Bushnell, Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane, and Sopranos castmates Edie Falco, Lorraine Bracco, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Aida Turturro, Vincent Curatola, and Federico Castelluccio. Also making appearances were Sex co-stars Chris Noth and David Eigenberg.

Guests feasted on a beautiful buffet under the museum’s suspended blue whale, perched high above the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life which gave us the feeling of being transported into an aquatic wonderland.

Other well-known faces from the eclectic crowd included Kyle MacLachlan, Judy Gold, and Jennifer Esposito. As the event progressed, and the guests mingled, it soon became apparent that the atmosphere was changing slightly once the socializing began. What started out as another Sex and the City premiere had become a fashion parade of open-toed Manolas and Choos that complemented the perfect Buff Spa pedicures. Several women unashamedly let it be known that they desperately sought approval from Sarah Jessica Parker, who’s the absolute goddess of fabulous shoes!
