An amazing sunset and most compelling cause joined together in Water Mill at the waterfront home of Riki and Bob Larimer, founders of Metrokane (makers of the Rabbit Corkscrew), for the launch of the NYC Coalition Against Hunger’s Young Professionals Leadership Council.
Emily Conner, founding chair of the council, hosted a cocktail party that was not only framed by perfect scenery but was generously sponsored by P.I.N.K. Vodka, Metrokane, and Apollo Real Estate Advisors.
Host committee members included: Andrew Holm of Apollo Real Estate Advisors, Celeste Wolter, Cassandra Kelley, Chris London, and Joel Berg who delivered a passionate speech highlighting the reality that 1.3 million New York City residents—including 400,000
children—often go hungry. The new Young Professionals Leadership Council plans to recruit members to spread awareness about NYCCAH and create a new donor base through events and fundraisers. |
