Host Christy Turlington, Uma Thurman, Robert Downey Jr., Trudie Styler, Donna Karan, Beth Rudin DeWoody, and Charles Gargano turned up at the benefit auction for the Tibet House at Christie’s. Items such as autographed guitars by Sting and David Bowie, Robert De Niro’s Hirschfeld caricature, Gwyneth Paltrow’s earrings, and exotic trips to India and Bhutan were put on the block so the Tibet House can help preserve and maintain the ancient traditions of Tibetan culture.
