The International Auto Show vroomed its way into high gear at the Jacob Javits Center with a special gala preview. The show, hosted by Lexus, benefited the East Side House Settlement, which strives to enrich the lives of children in the South Bronx.

Cocktail-sipping guests joined chairs Marianna Olszewski, Blair Voltz Clarke, and Tatiana Platt in perusing the hot wheels on display. Christie's auctioneer Richard Brierley led a live auction that featured the ultra-fab Lexus LS 600h L, a luxury hybrid sedan that's scheduled to arrive in the U.S. this spring.

Hot rods included: Kristian Laliberte, Anya Assante, Abigail Klem, Alexis Zoullas, Caroline Rowley, Jennifer Powers, Gillian Miniter, Joan Young, Patrick Crandall, Campion Platt, Chappy and Melissa Morris, Jane and Lloyd Sprung, and Somers White and Jonathan Farkas.
