Showtime’s Matt Blank and Robert Greenblatt with Alan Cumming (center)

It was a smokin’ night at the Directors Guild of America as Showtime and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS hosted the premiere of the cable network’s first movie musical Reefer Madness, inspired by the 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film Tell Your Children and the subsequent 2001 off-Broadway musical spoof.

Spotted at the hip screening and after-party at Tao: Reefer Madness stars Alan Cumming, Kristen Bell, Ana Gasteyer (with hubby, Charlie McKittrick), Christian Campbell and Nikki Snelson, John Kassir, Robert Torti, and Amy Spanger; director Andy Fickman, composer Dan Studney, and lyricist Kevin Murphy; Showtime’s Matt Blank and Robert Greenblatt; and guests Mario Cantone, Sale Johnson, Denise Rich, Bill Kapfer, Nikki Haskell, Bill Powers and Cynthia Rowley, Frank DeCaro, Irina Pantaeva and Roland Levin, Justin Bruening and Alexa Havins, Tia Texada, Peter Tunney, and Eva LaRue. Pure madness!
