The Parrish Museum highlighted the summer season with its Midsummer Party honoring renowned architectual firm Herzog & de Meuron, which has now taken on the Parrish as its first major East Coast assignment. Partygoers were among the first to celebrate the unveiling of plans for the new museum.

Rick and Kathy Hilton were among the partygoers enjoying the elegant ambience, dinner, and dancing. Kathy, spotted sporting a new look—straight hair/pony-tail-perfect—divulged to us that she always seems to appear as a deer caught in the headlights in photos. So we gave her a quick lesson in focusing on a sexier three-quarter turn and posing with attitude. We captured Kathy striking a new Paris-esque pose using our Panasonic digital camera (with that great optical stabilizer). “So that’s how Paris does it!” she exclaimed.

As the night danced on, Kathy got another dose of daughter Paris as she gushed over the deejay spinning the heiress’s hot new hit “Stars Are Blind.” The social set seemed to love it, as they gyrated on the dance floor under the party tent.

Honorary co-chairs: Debbie Bancroft, Katharina Otto-Bernstein, and Beth Rudin DeWoody. Also enjoying the evening: Pierre de Meuron, Ascan Mergenthaler, Jayne Barlow, Dieter Mangold, Charlotte Moss, Camia Young, Nicole Miller, and Simon Demeuse.

A perfect party of all that is Hamptons chic!
