Party hopping was brought to a new level when kickoff receptions were held at 33 of Madison Avenue’s most prominent boutiques (Dolce & Gabbana, David Yurman, Ralph Lauren, Sonia Rykiel, Lockes Diamonds, Barneys New York, and de Grisogono, to name a few). Thousands of guests bounced from one showroom to another, previewing the exhibition. Each featured piece was chosen specifically to reflect the luxury brand’s design philosophies. Proceeds benefited the Whitney Museum.
