Isaac Mizrahi unveiled his Fall 2004 Collection to a star-studded audience at Cipriani 42nd Street. The spectacular show highlighted the couturier’s high- and low-end lines—Issac Mizrahi New York Couture Collection and Isaac Mizrahi for Target (a one-year-old line of affordable sportswear and accessories).

The fashion pack included: Diane Sawyer and Mike Nichols, Matthew and Cari Modine, Bebe Neuwirth, Patricia Field, Bruce Weber, Candice Bergen and daughter Chloe Malle, Anna Wintour, Iman, Aerin Lauder, Marina Rust O’Connor, Nan Kempner, and Renee Rockefeller.

Think herringbone jodhpurs and a silver fox/mohair turtle-neck, a cabbage slaw-colored mini-dress or a one-piece suit with Baccarat crystal buttons, black velveteen jeans and a white muscle-T, a denim/horse-hair skirt and mink cardie, or a $50 blue-jean suede jacket. It’s a Target-ed mix of the “luxe” and the “lax”!
