Star treats her fiancé to the first bite of his B-Day cake

Morris and Jaci Reid kicked off their “Blue Dinner Series,” sponsored by Martell Cognac, with a sunset dinner party, catered by Black Tie Caterers, at their East Hampton home in honor of Al Scales Reynolds, fiancé of The View’s Star Jones. The summer-long series celebrates the accomplishments and contributions to the community of an outstanding individual. Reynolds is coordinator of business development for Merrill Lynch. Morris Reid of the Westin Rinehart Group consults with Fortune 500 companies on public image and crisis management.

When toasting her intended, before the assembled guests, Jones referred to the six-year age difference between them. “I’m not robbing the cradle,” she declared proudly. “I’m rockin’ it!” Delighted guests chuckled and applauded her spirited frankness.

Following dinner, Frank Cilione and Shamin Abas took members of the party (including designers Elie Tahari and wife Rory, who just launched Tahari’s T21) to their hotspot Resort. There, man-of-the-hour Reynolds celebrated his next-day 36th birthday in the VIP room and showed off his dance moves with his wife-to-be on a lit go-go platform. The couple strutted their stuff to the birthday-themed opening lyrics of 50 Cent’s “In Da Club.”

“The view” from here? We say, “Way to go, Star and Al!”
