Matthew Morrison, Joanna Gleason, Kim Cattrall

The Acting Company's annual gala, "Black & White Masquerade Ball," held at The Waldorf, boasted more names and faces than a Broadway opening. Tony-acclaimed thespian Rosemary Harris presented director Jack O'Brien (Hairspray, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Henry IV, The Full Monty) with the John Houseman award (named after the talented director/producer/actor), for his commitment to classical theatre.

Joanna Gleason, Matthew Morrison, and Darlene Love performed for the crowd, and four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein emceed.

The playbill of guests included: Kim Cattrall, Judy Katz, Richard Easton, Harriet Harris, Dana Ivey, Chad Kimball, Brian Murray, Brían F. O'Byrne, Marian Seldes, Michael Stuhlbarg, David and Helen Gurley Brown, Marc Shaiman, and Scott Wittman. Life is not always "black & white," but it was on this most entertaining evening.
