It's amazing what a little sushi (hand-cut on site by a Japanese master), French bubbly, and the promise of getting your photo in a society glossy will do to get the A-list out on a rainy night (and even to purchase a fur or two) … but that's what happened when The Hampton Sheet put together a little pour for good friend Chie Imai (Japanese fur-designer diva) at her Madison Ave. boutique. We hired Wilhelmina model Cindy Guyer (the romance-cover beauty) to show off the gorgeous goods-and let the furs fly out the door.

In the mix: supermarket magnate John Catsimatidis with wife Margo and young daughter Andrea, Victoria Christian (of Clive Christian-the most expensive perfume in the world, and the one chosen by Katie Holmes for her wedding day with Tom Cruise), Chic Boutique's Barbara Bennett, Michelle Russell, Meera Gandhi, Andrea Peyser, Kristen Krusen, Ann Rapp, Lyn Paulsin, and Cynthia Maltese.

Catsimatidis surprised the girls in his life with a couple of fab furs. Andrea thanked her father with a big hug and gushed, "Oh, Daddy, thank you soooo much, I love it. I love you, Daddy!" Meanwhile, one woman in the crowd who'd spotted a fab sable coat was overheard making a call to her daddy-her sugar daddy, that is!
