It was fashion for a passion at the Discovery Ball kick-off party, held at Neiman Marcus Worth Avenue to benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. For 60 years, Dana-Farber has been providing cancer patients with the best treatment available today while developing tomorrow's cures through cutting-edge research.
The evening, hosted by Dame Celia Lipton Farris, along with Michele Kessler and Tom Quick, featured a sensational runway show. The highlight: a personal appearance by Oscar de la Renta, who showcased his Spring 2007 collection.
Style-setting attendees included Evelyn and Leonard Lauder, Nancy and Don Carter, Roberta and Paul Kozloff, Emily DiMaggio, Vicki and Arthur Loring, Sandy Krakoff, Laura and Lee Munder, Ann Rosenberg, Jean Pearlstein and Craig Miller, Tiffany Spadafora and George Cloutier, and Abe and Lin Gosman.
All in all, it was a sartorial-savvy evening about looking good and feeling even better.
