Music and sports ruled at the Phoenix Rising Award Dinner, held at the Plaza, honoring Lisa Ellis of Fireman Capital Partners and Carnival House Recordings. The evening’s celebration, benefiting Phoenix House (a leading non-profit alcohol and drug abuse treatment and prevention facility in the US), was headlined by a special acoustic performance by Wyclef Jean and unique treat by Hip-Hop Violinist Miri Ben-Ari. Shaquille O’Neal made a hilarious video tribute as well. Guests enjoying the evening included Eli Manning, Shaun O’Hara, Wes Welker, Paul Fireman, Rose Marie Bravo, Shari Redstone, Richard Plepler, and Dan Fireman.
