Did you know that 70% of products in our grocery stores contain genetically modified organisms and that our own government refuses to label these as altered ingredients? Facts like these have inspired the Northeast Organic Farming Association of New York (NOFA-NY) to hold the Organic Food from Farm to Family Saluting Those who Make a Difference luncheon and panel discussion. The lunch, hosted by Christie Brinkley, honored Deirdre Imus, restaurateurs Bart Potenza and Joy Pierson, and Elizabeth Henderson for their pioneering work in keeping our families healthy and our food biologically friendly.
