The School of American Ballet’s annual Winter Ball at the New York State Theater brought in $650,000, which will go toward supporting the School’s scholarship programs and maintaining top-notch facilities at Lincoln Center.
Many guests garnished their fabulous frocks with loaned gems from sponsor Van Cleef and Arpels, which used the fete to preview its new Ballet Precieux. Shimmering models donned exquisite emerald, ruby, and diamond pieces from the collection.
Guests, who included Carol Mack, Lisa-maria and Philip Falcone, and Alexandra Lebenthal, relocated to the theater’s Promenade for a seated three-course dinner pre- pared by Glorious Foods and a performance choreographed by American Ballet alumnus Albert Evans. “The Encore,”
or after party, got fired up later on, and party-prone guests danced into the late evening. Among the chairs were Coco Kopelman, Elizabeth Miller, Gillian Miniter, Liz Peek, and Liz Armstrong. |
