Lamborghini and Esquire magazine teamed up to sponsor an autolicious preview gala for the International Auto Show at the Javitz Center. Gala and committee chairs Phil Yang, Michael Moreno, Joan Young, Tatiana Platt, Fe Fendi, and Annie Churchill revved up the evening, which benefited East Side House Settle ment. The glamorous event kicked off with a special Lamborghini exhibition, a private preview of the entire auto show, a cocktail gala for the benefit committee, and a dinner for sponsors and benefactors. The highlight was a new 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo auctioned off by Christie’s auctioneer Richard Brierley. It went for $340,000 and will be available in late summer (retail value $255,000).
