The Hamptons’ most sophisticated socialites, art collectors, artists, and philanthropists gathered at the Parrish Art Museum for the annual Midsummer Party. The evening set out to salute the creative spirit of the East End, honoring the work of director and choreographer Patricia Birch, Barbara Goldsmith, Chuck Close, Paul Taylor, musician G.E. Smith, and interior designers Tony Ingrao and Randy Kemper.

Event co-chairs and guests included Carlo Bronzini Vender, Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, Dorothy Lichtenstein, Eric Fischl and April Gornik, and Charlene and James Nederlander. The programming began with a cocktail hour and viewing of two photography collections: The Landmarks of New York and Liminal Ground: Adam Bartos Long Island Photographs, 2009–2011. Dinner was accompanied by tracks from DJ Tom Finn, who kept guests dancing for the after-10 party, co-chaired by Anne Huntington, Carolina Portago, and Serena Stanfill Tufo. The Midsummer Party was a magnificent affair, once again proving to be a highlight of the Hamptons season.
