No Independence Day is complete without hot dogs, high-flying fireworks, and Hamptons’ elite. Fabulous guests and their families frolicked at an oceanfront private residence in celebration of the Southampton Fresh Air Home’s 21st Annual American Picnic, benefiting the organization’s work with physically challenged youth. The endless festivities led to an explosive finish, as Southampton Mayor Mark Epley led a joyous countdown to the grand Grucci show, and Caroline Harding belted “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Event Chairpersons Brenda Earl De Paola, Michaela and Stephan Keszler, Patricia and George Kraus, Barbra and Jack Kugler, and Christl and Ken Meszkat created a celebration worthy of America’s birthday, as attendees Claire Mulholland, RFR Realty’s Richard Farley, Catherine di Montezemolo, Barbara and Randall Smith, Dianne and Joe DiMenna, Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, and Heather Mnuchin, raised a glass to Uncle Sam. For one night, red, white, and blue never looked so sensational!
