The LongHouse Reserve kicked off the Invitational Garden Container Exhibition in high style as Martha Stewart, the garden diva herself, personally shared her knowledge and passion for the art of gardening. Founder Jack Lenor Larsen welcomed over 300 garden enthusiasts (including 75 of the Hamptons’ most revered designers, artists and garden professionals) to preview and enjoy the event featuring 24 exhibitors special garden arrangement containers.
Martha, who is a longtime friend of LongHouse, graciously weighed in with her critique and awarded five blue ribbons and two grand prizes to exhibitors. Attendees were enamored with Min Xiao-Fen’s Blue Pipa Trio as they played a special 45-minute concert during the wine reception. Music to garden lovers’ ears. |
