The work of all the Memorial’s programs remind us of what my father knew: ‘We will find fulfillment not in the good we have, but in the good we can do together.’” Those were the great words of Robert F. Kennedy’s seventh of his eleven children, Kerry Kennedy, at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial’s 40th Anniversary celebration held at Courtney Ross’s estate in East Hampton.
Toasting the organization’s achievements with human rights and social justice work around the globe were U.S. Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey and his wife Susan, Alec Baldwin, Ethel Kennedy, Mary Richardson Kennedy, Courtney Kennedy, Rory Kennedy and Mark Bailey, Harry Belafonte, and Gloria Reuben. Post cocktails, guests delighted in a light dinner and live performance.
RFK’s dreams of peace and justice are put into action through the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial, a nonprofit organization that perpetuates his vision through various domestic and international programs. The RFK Gala and Honoree Dinner will take place in NYC November 19th. Mark your calendars! |
