Herb Gardner’s 1986 Tony Award-winning comedy I’m Not Rappaport is revived and alive at the Booth Theatre, this time around starring Judd Hirsch and Ben Vereen under 2001 Tony-winning director Daniel Sullivan (Proof)—who directed the original Rappaport. Maybe the play’s revival will rub off on the historic Russian Tea Room, where the after party was held.
