Ready … get set … EAT! For the launch of their all-natural fruity drinks, Naked Food Juice brought together New York chefs and celebs for the Pro-Am cook-off at the American Park restaurant in Battery Park. The event, hosted by Karen Duffy, also touted the new Naked Earth Trust at the Waterkeeper Alliance, a nonprofit citizen watch group led by Robert Kennedy, Jr., dedicated to preserving the world’s waterways. Kennedy, along with the likes of Lorraine Bracco, Nicole Miller, Joe Pantoliano, and Chevy Chase tied on aprons and paired up with top chefs from eateries like Tribeca Grill and Savoy. Using one or more Naked Organic juices, each duo whipped up dishes judged by a panel of top foodies, and the winning team—Lorraine Bracco and Don Pintabona from Tribeca Grill—can look forward to the prize of a day of lunch and falconry with Kennedy at his upstate New York spread. We’ll have to ask Bracco if the falcons liked the lunch!
