Ben Stiller, Billy Baldwin

There's no time like the present to fight for a worthy cause, as A-listers of theater, film, and TV demonstrated when they gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street for the annual "Tomorrow is Tonight" gala. This year's benefit celebrated the life and work of the late Project A.L.S. founder and theatrical producer Jenifer Estess, who lost her battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig's disease) last December. Her legacy is a memoir, Tales from the Bed: On Living, Dying, and Having It All (Atria, 2004), "as told" to her sister Valerie Estess, which chronicled her battle.

Hosts Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, lent their support, along with: Katie Couric (who wrote an intro in Estess's memoir), Billy Baldwin, Ethan Hawke, Bobby Cannavale, Edie Falco, Mariska Hargitay, Julianna Margulies, Tom Cavanaugh, Annabella Sciorra, Richard Kind, former Bachelor Jesse Palmer, and Marisa Tomei.

Tomorrow is tonight… there's not a second to lose in joining this crucial fight!
