One of the more social events of the summer, the Parrish Art Museum’s Midsummer Party, held at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, honored curator Beth Rudin DeWoody and painter Ross Bleckner.

Guests included April Gornik and Eric Fischl, Donna Karan, Christophe de Menil, Debbie Bancroft, Robert Zimmerman, Dorothy Lichtenstein, Jonathan and Somers Farkas, Carl Spielvogel and Barbaralee Diamonstein, and Tatiana and Campion Platt. The highlight of the evening was when Empire State First Lady Michelle Paterson explained why her hubby wasn’t there with her. “He’s been busy in Albany signing 6,681 vetoes to keep spending down,” she chirped to the roar of tremendous applause.
