The Apollo Theater Foundation welcomed guests to the historic Apollo Theater for the Spring Benefit Concert, marking its 75th year. The event was hosted by Jamie Foxx and honored Aretha Franklin and Michael Jackson—both were inducted into the Apollo Legends Hall of Fame. Also honored were Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Chris Tucker accepted the award on behalf of Jackson and shared stories of humor and generosity. Others in attendance included Danny Glover, Star Jones, Marcia Gay Harden, Angela Bassett, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Estelle.
