Nearly 2,500 moms, dads, and kids played the day away at the American Museum of Natural History’s annual Family Party, benefiting the museum’s varied educational programming. This year, the event featured the special exhibit “Frogs: A Chorus of Colors” (starring more than 200 live green amphibians!). There were also opportunities to examine exotic reptiles, dig for dinosaurs, observe live butter.ies, go on an underwater yoga adventure, participate in science experiments, and enjoy a performance by Sugar Beats. Kids were also invited to create their very own books at Scholastic’s Klutz Book Factory.

Event co-chairs included: Kathryn Collins, Whitney Fairchild, Meera Gandhi, Liz Lange, Simone Mailman, Kathryn Hearst, Perri Peltz, and Nicole Miller. Also joining in the fun: Eve Weinstein, Betsy Lack, Robert de Rothschild, Linda and Mort Janklow, Valesca Guerrand-Hermès, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, Tara and Michael Rockefeller, Tracy Stern, Holly Heston Rochell, and Jaime Eduardo de Borbon. It was child’s play for all ages!
