Guests were in for a spectacular musical evening at the New York Pops gala concert and dinner dance, honoring Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. The Tony Award-winning and Oscar-nominated songwriting team are the geniuses behind renowned Broadway musicals Ragtime, Once on This Island, Seussical, My Favorite Year, A Man of No Importance, and The Glorious
Ones, plus the feature film Anastasia.
The New York Pops celebrated its 29th birthday with
a concert featuring a remarkable lineup of guest artists under the baton of music director Steven Reineke. Following the concert at Carnegie Hall, guests enjoyed a black-tie dinner and dancing at the Plaza.
