Maurice DuBois and Dr. Max Gomez played MCs at the New York Center for Living Gala, founded by Elizabeth Kabler, who chaired the event. Co-chairs included Dr. Joel Kassimir, John Bradley, Susan Gutfreund, Dr. Michael Kraus, Thomas Melcher, Steven Ford, and Jay Strippoli.

The recovery center honored Pamela Newman for her efforts in raising funds for young adults and families suffering from substance abuse and related mental health disorders.
