Supermarket czar and mayoral hopeful John Catsimatidis threw an over-the-top party at the Mandarin Oriental to celebrate his wife Margo’s 60th birthday. Nothing was spared, from the cocktail portion to the dinner to the entertainment.

The birthday girl’s favorite singer, Bobby Vinton, performed for guests who included Police Commish Ray Kelly, Senator Chuck Schumer, society hair stylist Rodolfo Valentin, Jonathan and Somers Farkas, Francine LeFrak and Rick Friedberg, Ernie Anastos, Rita Cosby, Dolly Lenz, Mark Simone, former Manhattan DA Robert Morgenthau, and Curtis Sliwa. Although the couple’s close friends the Clintons couldn’t attend, the former president sent a video message of congratulations to Margo for her accomplished and incredible life.
