Denise Rich’s Fifth Avenue triplex penthouse was alive with ethnic harmony during the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding’s Spring Benefit. Led by Rabbi Marc Schneier and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, the Foundation is dedicated to promoting racial harmony and strengthening inter-ethnic relations.
The Rabbi and Simmons presented the Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award to BMG ‘big’ Charles Goldstuck, Kellwood Company Chair and CEO Hal Upbin, and Booz Allen Hamilton Senior VP Reginald Van Lee. A Business Leadership Award was also given to Mad. Ave. honcho Donny Deutsch. Jimmy Jazz Prez Jimmy Khezrie received the prestigious Community Service Award. All music to our ears!
