Cartier Apple Pendant Cartier’s Apple pendant features pavé diamonds representing none other than the Big Apple. The pendant was created to celebrate the Fifth Avenue store restoration—and a baguette-cut diamond highlights the store, while green tsavorites signify Central Park.
Available only at Cartier, a percentage of the pendant’s proceeds go to the Red Cross Relief Fund.

S&R Designs USA and Hearts Across America
S&R Designs has created a piece that couldn’t express patriotism more simply: USA. The white gold letters are 14-karat gold embedded with tiny rubies, blue sapphires, and diamonds on a lobster chain.

Maybe the most popular patriotic jeweled celebrity item is Hearts Across America, also created by S&R Designs. The heart is 14-karat white gold engraved with rubies, blue sapphires, and diamonds on a 16-inch white gold chain. S&R’s pieces are featured in select boutiques around the country, and celebs sporting the hot heart include Rikki Lake, Molly Sims, Britney Spears, Melanie Griffith and Jamie-Lyn Sigler.

A percentage of both pieces will be donated to the Red Cross.

	Judith Ripka Flag Pin Rubies, diamonds, and sapphires symbolize the stars and stripes in Judith Ripka’s Flag pin, incorporating the designer’s signature materials: matte gold finish, mesh texture, and ropes that twist around the flagpole. Ripka’s unique element—a golden cherub—sits atop the flag.

Harry Winston Peace Mask ‘91
Peace ’91 had its debut at the Dallas Museum’s Masque des Beaux Arts in Palm Springs in April 1991 during the Persian Gulf War.

When Ronald Winston heard the theme for the ball was “Bal Masque,” he got inspired to produce something special for the occasion. The result: a jeweled rendition of the American flag set in a Lucite base—with 383 rubies, 463 diamonds, and 100 sapphires. One Peace Mask is being auctioned at the Art for America Auction, in which all proceeds go to the Twin Towers Fund. Says Winston: “Wear our colors with pride, and believe once again in the beauty and strength of our country, which will hopefully bring us to a new era of peace.”
