Many of the Kennedy clan were among the bookish bunch that gathered at Meera and Vikram Gandhi's Upper East Side townhouse (formerly Eleanor Roosevelt's residence) to celebrate the release of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's tome, Failing America's Faithful: How Today's Churches Are Mixing God With Politics and Losing Their Way.
In her book, Townsend, the eldest of Robert F. Kennedy's 11 children, references her darker childhood times, such as her uncle John's murder and threats from Jimmy Hoffa toward her during her father Bobby's investigation of him during the Senate Rackets Committee hearings.
Among the guests: Ted Kennedy Jr., Glenn Close, Patricia Duff, Rory Kennedy and Mark Bailey, Kerry Kennedy, Pilar Rossi (who provided the pink suit the author wore for the festivities), Carole Radziwill, Mary Richardson Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Molly and Douglas Kennedy.
Now that's a family affair!
