Sharon Stone took to the stage and delivered a heartfelt speech about a young girl with cancer, bringing tears to her and everyone else's eyes at The Pierre for the 53rd annual Spirit of Achievement luncheon.

The event, sponsored by the National Women's Division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, honored Stone, Alma Johnson Powell, Margaret Russell, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, Lynn Sherr, and Lois Pope for their incredible achievements. Felicia Taylor served as the mistress of ceremonies for the power lunch.

Spirited attendees included Tara Mark, Sandra Warshawsky, Cindy Mark, Debbie Farfel, Dr. Ruth Gottesman, Richard Joel, Janet Hershaft, Andrea Stark, and Susan Mark.
