Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! The highly anticipated preview of the 2006 New York International Auto Show came vrooming into the Jacob Javits Center, courtesy of Bentley Motors and Esquire magazine. Cocktail-sipping guests milled in the crowd checking out the latest and greatest on four wheels—as well as each other—and were even treated to a sneak peek at the first Bentley Continental GTC to arrive in the U.S. The luxury convertible, which went for a whopping $330,000 in the live auction, benefited the East Side House Settlement, which raised over $750,000.
A-list test-drivers: gala chairs Michael Moreno, Phil Yang, Fe Fendi, David Patrick Columbia, Somers and Jonathan Farkas, Joanne de Guardiola, Jill and Andrew Roosevelt, Felicia Taylor, Robert Ruffino, Josh and Shoshanna Gruss, Eugenie Niven, Marianna Olszewski, Annie Churchill, Chanel Korby, Eric Javits, and Harrison LeFrak.
Great fun in the fast lane!
