Legendary crooner Lionel Richie was golden “All Night Long” at Cipriani Wall Street for the third performance in the year-long Wall Street Concert Series.
In a touching tribute to his newly thin-as-a-rail daughter Nicole (former co-star, along with Paris Hilton, of Fox’s rural reality show The Simple Life), Lionel professed his “Endless Love” for her to the crowd. A beaming Nicole told The Sheet that her favorite song in her proud papa’s repertoire is “Ballerina Girl,” his ode to her early days as a ballet performer. Lionel’s all-grown-up-yet-still-tiny dancer boogied the night away with fiancé Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein. Star Jones Reynolds and restaurateur Giuseppe Cipriani joined the lovebirds on the dance floor, and hip-hop mogul Damon Dash (who recently sold his interest in Roc-A-Fella Records after a falling-out with partner Jay-Z) and his wife, Rachel Roy, were also shakin’ it.
In the groove: Island Def Jam’s Antonio “LA” Reid, Kendu Isaacs and Mary J. Blige, Adair Howell, Gastineau Girls’ Lisa and Brittny, Emilio Pucci’s daughter Laudomia, MAC President John Demsey, publicity powerhouse Lizzie Grubman (with her protégés, featured in the MTV series PoweRGirls, gearing up for season two) and Jonathan Cheban, Dr. Larry and Sandy Rosenthal, Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos, house de Grisogono’s Fawaz Gruosi (the series’ sponsor), and Georgette Mosbacher. Next up on stage: Marc Anthony on September 15. Perhaps J.Lo will be there to cheer on her hubby….
